Lois, Donna, and Sandy, thanks for writing. I'm most familiar with Thomas Perry's Vanishing Act. I did read that one. And, I know the title of the Giles Blunt book, but haven't read it. I just started Vanishing Act by Thomas Perry which is not a new book but it was listed on an all time favorite mystery list - takes place in an area of upstate New York which I am familiar with and has to do with a woman who helps people who are in trouble disappear.
