I have 1 or 2 books in each series and can't get past p. 50 in any. They all are now in my donation box. <br />So, I just read Northwest Angle(11) and Trickster's Point(12) by W.K. Actually I loved everything but the title which sounded as if were trying to cash in on Anne Perry's name-- the Australian title was "So Brilliantly Clever." My guess is the publisher felt an investigation of an historical crime in New Zealand wouldn't appeal to Americans. Anyway, it was non-sensationalist, thorough, and utterly fascinating. But then I tend to enjoy nonfiction historical mysteries, like Crime of the Century (about Leopold and Loeb) or Devil in the White City. He made great use of interviewing survivors of that time as well as Pauline's diaries.BPL Refhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07206148409183653691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9995206.post-79172480710737506882015-01-30T07:45:36.838-06:002015-01-30T07:45:36.838-06:00Always amazes me when people loathe books I love a...Always amazes me when people loathe books I love and love books I loathe. It's very realistically done - she's a young girl of a royal family in an era when the island was divided among various warring tribes: Angles, Saxons, Welsh, etc. Loving it!Clea Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10810838253598050028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9995206.post-48390069841903776692015-01-29T14:07:46.002-06:002015-01-29T14:07:46.002-06:00Thanks, Bill.
