You and I have followed him since that time, right thought meeting him & shaking hands with him in Phoenix, and I tod him, " I hope you will consider running for President, Mr. Senator. This could bring us all as a nation back together & live by the ideals laid out by Dr. King, JFk, and RFK.

May they all Rest In Peace & see a new awaking of the American Spirt.

Love.. It totally made me cry, and I know that where ever he his, Dr. King is weeping with joy right along with us.

I, like you, tried to keep the politics out of my book blog, but was very vocal on my personal blog - not that anyone really reads that one, but...I've always tried to be educated in the political areana and take voting very seriously, but NEVER have I felt as passionately about a candidate as I have about Barack Obama. Once I read his book The Audacity of Hope, which I read before he announced his candidacy, I knew he was a person I could believe in and follow!

And Corey's absolutely right, we have to be active in the change right along with Obama. But, I'm ready and willing to be a part of it.

Hope has returned!Jen Forbushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13325129568512353951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9995206.post-30592423795912947162008-11-09T16:51:00.000-06:002008-11-09T16:51:00.000-06:00They do go well together, don't they Corey.
