Winners and a Scottish Giveaway

Congratulations to the winners of the last giveaway. Marla B. from Las Vegas, NV won Dead Cold Brew. Charlotte W. of Covington, GA will receive Pekoe Most Poison. Tart of Darkness is heading to Trish R. from Decatur, GA. I'm mailing the books today.

This week, there's a Scottish connection to both books for the giveaway. Catriona McPherson's first Last Ditch mystery is Scot Free. Lexy Campbell plans to handle one last marriage counseling session in California and head home to Scotland. But, one of her clients ends up dead, and Lexy is willing to help the mourning spouse. Or, is the spouse mourning or guilty of murder? She checks into the Last Ditch Motel to have time to prove her client is innocent. It's there she meets an eccentric cast of characters willing to help a needy Scot. (This one is a fun romp.)

Maybe you'd prefer to head to the Scottish Highlands with Molly MacRae's Scones and Scoundrels. Janet Marsh and her business partners at Yon Bonnie Books are looking forward to hosting a book signing for a world-famous environmental author who hasn't been home to Inversgail in thirty years. She turns out to be demanding and outspoken. And, when a man is found dead outside the local pub, she wants to team up with the bookstore owners to find the killer.

Which mystery would you like to win? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries. Email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject line should read either "Win Scot Free" or "Win Scones and Scoundrels." Please include your name and mailing address. The giveaway will end Thursday, June 14 at 5 PM CT. Entries from the U.S. only, please.

I love Scottish settings and authors! I've already read Catriona's Scot Free and enjoyed every minute of it. I'd love to read Molly's new one thigh.

I have been mad about any and all things Scottish since, oh, forever. So much so that a group of friends in college and I made up a Scottish holiday! :D

Oh, that's fun, LuAnn. I'm mad about everything Irish, but I think they have plenty of holidays.
