I don't know what happened here! I'm going to restore this post as quickly as I can. I know people commented, and I'll try to restore the comments as well.

Be patient. It all disappeared!

Congratulations on reading book #200 in 2017, Margie.
And I am glad you did not limit your top reads to just 10.

I love the photo of you, Lesa and Catriona at LCC Phoenix. I usually go to Left Coast Crime to thaw out a bit from a long winter. Are you going to LCC in Reno?

Since you and Lesa and others have highly recommended AN UNSETTLING CRIME FOR SAMUEL CRADDOCK prequel, I have moved it from my TBR mountain to the short pile on my living room table. It is a series I enjoy reading but am a bit behind on.

I liked Jeff Cohen/EJ Cooperman's other series so I may give this one a try. And @50% of my reads each year are cozies but I have not read books by the authors you listed, except for Jane Cleland. I have heard a lot of buzz about THE VANISHING SEASON and have it on hold at the library.

I am currently reading a couple of books (and new authors for me) that Lesa had reviewed last year:

BEL, BOOK and SCANDAL by Maggie McCONNON
THE PLOT IS MURDER, V.M. Burns

So many more titles to add to my 2018 list...thanks and happy reading!

Oh, this was a wonderful list! Loved it! And the picture is great - so glad you shared your favorites with us, Margie! I've not read a single one of the books you listed, but I suspect my mystery tastes run to a bit more thriller/suspense/gruesome (LOL!). However, I do own several of them. I especially want to read HOUSE.TREE.PERSON. soon. Isn't it great to have so many choices?

OK, I caved and am reading GLASS HOUSES right now. I've saved it for as long as I can. Since Louise is going to be at Malice this year and since I'm getting to go again (yay!!), I decided to take the plunge and not listen to the whole series again first. I'm listening to Chris Bohjalian's SLEEPWALKER and liking OK-ish. Moves kind of slow.

Margie, the only book on your list that I’ve read was PUDDING UP WITH MURDER which I enjoyed.

I’ve gotten a lot of reading done this week because of the cold weather. We’re finally getting a few days of above freezing temps.

My favorite of the books I read was DEADFALL by Donna Ball. It’s the latest in her Raine Stockton and Cisco series. Raine trains dogs and also does search and rescue. Cisco is her search and rescue dog.

The other books I finished were all cozies.

EAVES OF DESTRUCTION by Kate Carlisle
A CASE OF SYRAH, SYRAH by Nancy Parra
REINING IN MURDER by Leigh Hearon

I’m currently reading two books, SADDLE UP FOR MURDER by Leigh Hearon and, a book of short vampire stories, THE LUNCHTIME READIN OMNIBUS by P.N. Elrod.

Margie, thank you for taking the time to write your reviews of your top books for 2017. I haven't read any of them
Reading 200 books is amazing to me, way to go. Trust you can top that this year, if you want to.

I finished Murder at Bray Manor book 3 by Lee Strauss
If You Were Here by Alafair Burke
The River at Night by Erica Ferencik

I am still reading Into the Water ( one or two chapters at a time) by Paula Hawkins.
Death Without Company by Craig Johnson

Keep on reading

I apologize, everyone. I don't know what happened to the blog. I tried to edit quickly when I saw there was some extraneous print, and I think I deleted the post instead. I apologize. Thank you for your comments!
