A Scottoline Package Giveaway

You should all know that the mother-daughter author team Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella have a new essay collection just out called HAVE A NICE GUILT TRIP, since I reviewed it recently.

Lucky for you I have a copy of this book--plus their FOUR previous books--to give away to one lucky winner. (Yes, the winner gets all 5 books!) There will be one winner, and you must be from the U.S. to win.
I'd love to have you comment below with the name of the place you would sneak off to if you could manage a solo summer getaway. But, to enter the contest, email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Your subject heading should read "Win 5 Scottoline Books." Please include your name and mailing address.  I'll pick one winner at random on Thursday night, July 31 at 6 PM CT.

You can also enter to win this awesome "Guilt Trip Giveaway" prize pack worth more than $1,000! Visit this page on Lisa's website for full details and the entry formhttp://scottoline.com/Offers/index.html

Oh, and I'd sneak back to New York City if I was going to sneak away for a trip. Where would you sneak off to by yourself?

I'd go back to Duluth MN where I grew up in the 40s/50s. So much has changed but I'd like to wander around one more time!

I would sneak off to the Outer Banks, NC!

Oh, this will be fun. I hope others chime in with the place they'd sneak off to. Thanks, Karen & Gwendolyn!

I'd sneak away to a house on the Brazos River in Glen Rose, Texas. Close to home but still in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Lately I've been daydreaming about Ocean City, NJ, as in my childhood in PA we made a lot of summer trips "to the shore" and I haven't been back since (CA is a bit far away). I especially would love to revisit the boardwalk, where I learned to play miniature golf on its many imaginative courses.

Let's pack up, and go! Sounds as if there are a few short dream trips here.

I'd sneak off to a writer's retreat near water like the Great Lakes or the Atlantic Ocean. Just hearing those waves lap the shore would be enough to get the juices flowing.

I would love to visit Savannah, Georgia. I hear the "junking" there is fabulous which makes it my kinda of town.

I would definitely go back to Nantucket! I went there on day to see the island. My ancestors were in the group of the first settlers. This time I would go in the special library and do some more research and go to some of the farther away parts of the island. I would be in heaven!

Sounds as if there a number of us heading toward the water, whether it's an island or shore. I'll go!

I'd love to go to Scotland someday, but it would be easier to sneak away to the coast for some beach time.

Lesa said...

Beaches, water. Scotland sounds great, but as you said, Holdenj, not necessarily a sneak away trip.
