What are you reading today?

So, what are you reading this weekend? I'm finishing up a police procedural. David Hunter's Tempest at the
Helm, features Shiloh Tempest, who  finds himself in charge of the Knox County Police Department. Two murders later, Tempest is just waiting for his boss to return.

What are you reading this weekend?

Today I'm reading a galley for Claire Cook's newest, and it's terrific. And then I need to do some research for my new novel.

Hope you and the kitties are snuggled in for some reading. Brrrrrrr, it's cold outside!

Good news all the way around, Beth! Claire Cook's newest is terrific. And, you must have an idea for your new novel if you're doing research. That's even better news! Hugs. We snuggled in, but I'm deserting them later today. They'll have to cuddle without me for a little while.

I am reading three:
1. Lies Agreed Upon by Kathleen Sharna. The Story is good but I am having trouble with the small print. My eyes cross and blur and I have decided to just read one chapter a day!

2. Winter Chill by Joanne Fluke, great story so far.

3. Cancer Nutrition & Recipes for Dummies. by A. Wiley Brand. It covers more than food so it would make a great gift for someone who has cancer. I have a pre-cancer instead of cancer. Great Book!

Two books: Purgatory Ridge by one of my favorite authors, William Kent Krueger, and The Orphan Master's Son. The latter is for a book club. It's pretty grim so far but eye-opening in regards to life in North Korea.

I'm sorry I wasn't around yesterday when everyone talked about what they've been reading. I have a nasty cold, and I slept away most of the day. Thanks for the notes!

With 59 days left until Christmas, I thought I'd start a holiday mystery - Silent Knife.

Forgot to wish you well, Lesa! Hope your cold goes goes away soon. Try 1Tbsp of lemon juice and 2Tbsp of honey, brewed in 1/2 cup of hot water. Take care.
