Cozy Con Photos

I spent my entire day at Cozy Con, the first convention for cozy mystery authors and fans, held at Phoenix Public Library's Burton Barr Library. The Poisoned Pen Bookstore facilitated the conference, and Barbara Peters, owner of the bookstore, was the moderator. Because it was a full day, and it's now 9 p.m., my Sunday blog will be a few pictures from the conference. Monday's posting will be the recap with an entire album of photos.
Jenn McKinlay, Kate Carlisle, Avery Aames, Donis Casey

So, here's just a glimpse of Saturday's Cozy Con.

It was a terrific day, Cleo. I think some of the authors have had a long week or so, beginning with Malice Domestic & ending with Cozy Con, but those of us out here appreciate them taking the time to come to Phoenix.

Lesa, it was so great to see you! We had such a good time at the conference. (Lest anyone thinks I was checking messages in one of the photos, I was taking pictures, too. Double-checking to see if I "got" it. LOL (They'll be up on my Facebook page soon)

Hugs to all

Wow! What a stellar event. And such fun too! A little green with envy here. Thanks for giving us all a report. Love the pictures too!

I knew you were taking pictures, and they should be able to tell from that photo that the panel really hadn't started yet. (grin)Can't wait to see your photos, too!

It was so much fun, Jane. Couldn't make it to Malice Domestic, so this was next best. Maybe just as good since it was so much more intimate.

What a fun day!! Thanks for sharing and keeping me in the loop. I had so wanted to go, but my son's ASU graduation took just a TAD of precedence!! I can't wait to read more tomorrow and get the whole run-down. You are so awesome at doing that for us. Thanks a million.

I am so glad that you and Cathy got to meet as well....gosh, two super-heroes of mine in the same library. Whoa.

Plus, all those authors! I can certainly understand why a "little thing" like a college graduation might beat out Cozy Con for the day!

Lesa, what an amazing write up. You're a marvel, truly! And it was delightful to have dinner with you - we must do it again!

Thanks, Jenn! It was fun, wasn't it? We do need to do it again. A bunch of us went to Cibo on Friday night before Cozy Con. Have you been there yet? Loved it!
