Read Across America

And, just for fun, here's what I did today. I went to Arroya Elementary School for Read Across America. NEA (National Education Association) Read Across America celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday. Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss) was born March 2, 1904. Schools, libraries and communities bring kids and reading together to celebrate. I took my turn reading to two classes.

It was fun, Kathy. I had a great time. And, one of the books was such a success, the first class asked me to read it a second time. Really a funny one, Bark, George by Jules Feiffer.

Love the hat, Lesa.

I remember reading Green Eggs and Ham as a little girl- Seuss is such an enduring writer.

Thanks, Rosemary! You're right, and kids still love his books.
