Anniversary Giveaway #7

What would a week of giveaways be without a book by Louise Penny? As I said, I'm celebrating the anniversary of my blog by giving away books by favorite authors, and Louise Penny counts as a favorite author, and a friend. So, I have a trade paperback of Bury Your Dead, a masterpiece, to give away.

Bury Your Dead is a complex story with three storylines. And, just as when I reviewed it, I won't go into too much detail because it will spoil the book. But, Chief Inspector Armand Gamache is in Quebec City during Winter Carnival. Penny carefully brings the city and the Carnival to life, but contrasts it with a violent death, a discovery at the Literary and Historical Society, where Gamache is doing research. This novel is brilliant, connecting previous books and earlier storytlines.

And, I won't say anymore about Bury Your Dead. If you would like to win a copy, email me at Lesa.Holstine@gmail.com. Include your name and mailing address. And, be quick about it. This is the final giveaway, and the contests close at 6 p.m. MT tonight.

If you go back through the blog for the last week, you still have until tonight to enter any of the contests. Good luck!

I'd love this book even though I understand that you should eally read them in sequence.

You should read them in sequence, Harvee, but that's OK. It won't stop you from winning it. (smile)

I almost wish I hadn't 're-discovered' mysteries because my TBR has grown in leaps and bounds since I found your blog, Lesa. Note I said 'almost'!
