Happy Christmas Lesa! I love the photos. I have two Siamese cats, they have already been having a mad chasing fit all over my bed - morning tea was almost a casualty..

Anna has just made us a lovely breakfast of croissants, scones, coffee and juice, and we are about to head off to the beach for our walk. It's cold and windy here, that should blow the cobwebs away. When we come back we will have mint and tomato soup and hot rolls, and after we have opened our presents we will do our traditional quiz - each of us writes some questions, mine are always on books and they all complain every year, no matter how easy I try to make them.

This morning I was trying to catch up with the workbook for my writing course, and the person who wrote the poetry chapter used 'concretised' as a verb. Anna and I were suitably horrified - but are we just being stick in the muds?

Lesa, I am so pleased to have found your blog, and if I talk too much, feel free to shut me up!

Have a good day everyone,

Rosemary

Merry Christmas to you also. Talk to you later.

Ah, Rosemary. My cats chased each other over the bed, jumped on me, anything to get me up the morning I could sleep in. I ignored them, and let them chase each other, but I enjoy them so much.

Christmas lights on, and I'll keep them on all day today. I'll SKYPE with my Mom this morning while I open my presents. Ham and fixings for dinner today, and a lazy day of Christmas music, maybe White Christmas or Love Always, and a book.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. And, you never talk too much!

Merry Christmas, my dear friend. I'm so glad we have reconnected. I know I've been running slower than anticipated, and you've been incredibly gracious. Bill helped me make a list of books you've turned me onto to read for you and came up with 25 to go. ACK!! I feel a bit like comic strip Cathy! But she doesn't have the medical challenges that I do. This warm weather (up to 80 today!) may be contributing to my worsening arthritis. Or maybe that's just over working? I am taking some rest time starting yesterday that I know will help since my knee is no longer screaming. That's about the best gift I could receive this year.

I hope you continue to find joy with your kitties (Goodrich is snuggled against me right now in pure bliss). Of course I'm certain you'll stay in touch with the Celtic Thunder! You are blessed to have your mom and sisters around you. Plus you work in a profession you love. Lots to be thankful for (I think I'm even late on my holidays since I sound like I'm celebrating Thanksgiving). Just be happy my friend! Sandie, from her corner

Merry Christmas, Sandie! Oh, I love that you think you're even late for your holidays. I disagree. Christmas is just as wonderful for being thankful, and, you're right. I have a lot to be grateful for. I know that, and I appreciate everything that I had in 2011. I have a wonderful family, and friends that I love, including you. As you said, I'm glad we reconnected.

And, I have cats who make me laugh, and are there for me. I was tearing up over that Flash Mob Christmas this morning, and Josh crawled into my lap, cuddled down, and purred. He thought I was upset and needed a good purr, but those were good tears. I'm so grateful for those cats in my life.

And, books, books, books! Including the 25 that have you backed up. Grateful for them as well.

Merry Christmas, Sandie!

Merry Christmas, Cleo! And, thank you. I hate to see 2011 go. It was so wonderful. I'm hoping 2012 is just as good. It's looking like there will be a visit from my mother & a trip home to Ohio in October for Bouchercon & a family visit. I hope you have a wonderful New Year. And, thank you, again.

Merry Christmas, Karen, and Happy New Year. If 2011 is anything as good as 2012, I'll be in great shape. And, I hope everyone else has a wonderful 2012. Thank you, and I'll look forward to having you back in 2012, Karen.

Merry Christmas, Beth, my friend. Hugs to you always. And, all the kitties send hugs back, except Josh, who just clawed my leg as I wrote this.
