Winners and A New Fiction Contest

Congratulations to the winners of the last contest. Michael Connelly's The Lincoln Lawyer will go to Lydia R. from Sherman, TX. Charlotte W. from Covington, GA won Robert Dugoni's Murder One. The books will go out in the mail tomorrow.

This week, you have the chance to win two titles ahead of publication. The publicists will be sending you these books. And, there will be multiple winners of each book, so take a chance now!

Leelee Satterfield is back home in the South where she belongs. Lisa Patton's novel, Yankee Doodle Dixie tells of a single mom, returning home to open a restaurant, having to prove herself again. Thank heavens she has three friends who "pepper her with advice, nudging and peach daiquiris." It's a novel of heart and humor. Yankee Doodle Dixie will go to three winners.

The man who brought us epic family sagas such as Kane & Abel and The Prodigal Daughter is now launching a new multigenerational saga. Jeffrey Archer's Only Time Will Tell is the first book in The Clifton Chronicles. The series spans the last one hundred years, and centers around Harry Clifton. The story will take readers from the back alleys of Bristol to the streets of New York City. Five people will win copies of Only Time Will Tell.

So, which book would you like to win? You can enter to win both books, but I need separate entries. Email me at  The subject lines should read, either "Win Yankee Doodle Dixie" or "Win Only Time Will Tell."  Include your name and mailing address in the body of the email.  Entries only from the U.S., please.

The contest will close Thursday, Aug. 11 at 6 PM PT when I'll draw the winners using a random number generator. I'll notify the winners, and the publicists will send the books. Good luck!

Whoops, must have forgotten the Win. But, that's OK. It will still come through for the contest fine. Good luck. And, thanks for the note, Caryn. I'll change it.
