The Creed Legacy by Linda Lael Miller

Linda Lael Miller's The Creed Legacy is the third and final book featuring the Creed cousins, Steven, Conner, and Brody. Steven and Conner have both married and settled down. Now, it's time to see if restless cowboy, Brody Creed, can be tamed.

Eight years earlier, Brody had returned to Lonesome Bend, Colorado, thinking he might stay. He even found a woman he loved, Carolyn Simmons, but a call took him away in the middle of the night. Carolyn never forgot, nor forgave, the man who stole her heart, and then didn't return for years. Unfortunately, her best friend and business partner, Tricia McCall, married Brody's twin brother, Conner. Now that Brody is back, building a house, Carolyn sees him at every barbeque and picnic at the Creed ranch. He already broke her heart once. She's afraid to let him get too close now.

Linda Lael Miller combines a knowledge of the contemporary West with interesting characters to bring her romances to life. Brody and Carolyn are adults with complications in their past lives. There was a reason Brody left abruptly, but the story that tears him apart is one he doesn't like to share. And, Carolyn was a child raised in foster homes who yearns for a home and family of her own. Miller throws enough drama into their lives to make the story interesting, and enough sexual tension in to make the story hot. There's a reason Linda Lael Miller continues to rise to the top of the bestseller lists. The Creed Legacy is another excellent example of her appealing, romantic stories of today's West.

Who are the role models for Miller's sexy cowboys? You might be surprised. Bestselling author, Linda Lael Miller, recently sat down for an in depth interview with Rhapsody Book Club Editor-in-Chief Christine Zika to talk about the latest in the Creed Trilogy, THE CREED LEGACY.

Thanks, Bev. I'm a newcomer to her books, but I've enjoyed both of them. She does a terrific job with her characters, and the romance.
