Winners and Autographed Cozy Contest

Congratulations to the winners of the last contest. Both books are heading for California. Theresa dV of Point Richmond, CA won Krista Davis' The Diva Paints the Town, and Patricia J. from San Francisco won Nancy Martin's Our Lady of Immaculate Deception. The books will go out in the mail tomorrow.

This week, I have two autographed cozy mysteries to give away. You don't want to miss the chance to try to win the first book in Jenn McKinlay's Cupcake Bakery mystery series, Sprinkle with Murder. It's hard to resist all of those cupcake recipes, let along a fun cast of characters, and an interesting murder. Throw in a terrific setting, Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, and it's worth taking a chance.

Or, you could win the second book in Sheila Connolly's Orchard mystery series, Rotten to the Core. Just as Meg Corey is getting the hang of managing the two-hundred-year-old apple orchard she inherited, the body of a young environmental activist is found in her springhouse. It's another intriguing mystery from Connolly.

So, do you want to win Sprinkle with Murder or Rotten to the Core? You can enter to win both, but I need separate entries for each. If you'd like to win one, email me at Email me!. If that link doesn't work for you, the email address is: Your subject line should read either, Win "Sprinkle with Murder" or Win "Rotten to the Core." Your message should include your mailing address. Entrants only in the U.S., please.

The contest will end Thursday, March 18 at 6 p.m. PT. The winners will be drawn by random number generator. The winners will be notified, and the books will go out in the mail on Thursday. Good luck!

Thanks, Krista! I'm betting she will enjoy it! I always email the winners directly, and I've already heard back from her that she's pleased she won.

They do have nice covers ... btw, I've just came across a new author (well, new to me) by the name of Patricia Smiley.

Have you reviewed any of her books?

I haven't reviewed any of Patricia Smiley's books. I started her first one, False Profits, and couldn't get into it. The premise didn't work for me. But, I heard from other people who really liked them. I hope you're one of them!
