A Harry Potter Interruption

We had a Harry Potter party at the library Friday night, and had 144 in attendance. I was in bed by 1:30 am.

My copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows arrived at 6 pm last night. Now, I'm ready to spend the day with Harry.

(Loved the box it arrived in from Amazon. I saved the box.)

Just out of curiosity, did the book come USPS or UPS? How did they get all those preorders to arrive on Sat???

I followed your link over from 4mysteryaddicts.

Enjoyed your review of Alafair Burke.

I got mine yesterday through the mail even though my Amazon account said UPS. Found out UPS delivered it to my post office on Friday. That's how they did part of it. Anyway, I was little miffed because I was waiting and waiting on UPS and decided to check the mail. There sat my book and it had probably been there for a couple of hours.

I finished this morning at 8:30. You'll have to go see what I thought. No spoilers though. Enjoy! I did!

Welcome, Maria!

I hope you enjoy it.

And, to both Kay and Maria, Kay was right. My account on Amazon said UPS, but it arrived from the post office, just about 6 pm. I'm lucky it arrived then because they left it at the office in our complex, and the office closes at 6 on Saturday. I picked it up 5 minutes before it closed.

Kay, you stayed up! I started mine this morning at 9, and finished about 9 pm tonight. It would have been much faster if I didn't do laundry, go to the grocery store, etc.

I enjoyed it too, Kay. No spoilers, but I thought it was the perfect ending.
