If they weren't hardcover (thus pretty much guaranteeing a traditional press) I'd probably pass them right by, assuming that it was some local self-pubber who got their books into the store on consignment. Seems like a press this respected can do better in that department.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9995206.post-22149735267900657692013-02-14T20:23:32.161-06:002013-02-14T20:23:32.161-06:00Well, now I know what others mean when they say th...Well, now I know what others mean when they say their response doesn't always appear. I answered both Joe and Sandy earlier today, and the responses never appeared. Thanks for the comments. I agree, Joe. It's a terrific publishing company with settings and characters that are different from the run-of-the mill mysteries. Thanks for the additional comment about the PPP, Sandy. And, it doesn't come as a surprise, Cathy!Lesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12946133849271512083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9995206.post-69616799045524900942013-02-14T15:12:36.876-06:002013-02-14T15:12:36.876-06:00Poisoned Pen Press has long been one of my favorit...Poisoned Pen Press has long been one of my favorites, but that wouldn't come as any surprise to you, Lesa! :-)Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01774383554326288663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9995206.post-18238455593810136222013-02-14T07:41:15.321-06:002013-02-14T07:41:15.321-06:00If anyone reads ebooks Poisoned Pen Press often ha...If anyone reads ebooks Poisoned Pen Press often has the first book in a number of mystery series available either for free or .99 on Amazon. I greatly appreciate publishers who try to look for ways to give so-far-non-published writers at least a chance to break the ice. Mostly, I prefer non-bestselling authors, and without houses like Poison Pen, there would be fewer of them. Joe Baronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10275991273751678636noreply@blogger.com
