Arrived in Evansville

Mom, the cats, and I arrived in Evansville on Sunday night. Monday, we moved into my new apartment. The furniture isn't here yet, but I have Internet!

Just to let everyone know, the cats were wonderful on the trip. They did a great job on the entire trip across country. No cat capers to report.

Give all the cats some pats for me!
They did better than my birds going from California to Texas! We had to get up at five in the morning so we could get some driving in without complaini

Yay, I'm glad you're there, safe and sound, and with a big grin on your face!

So glad to hear everyone arrived safely! My cats howl the whole time they are in a car like they are being killed so can't imagine how you transported all of them on that long trip. Give your Mom a hug from me as it is so great to have someone along to help you the way she did. All the best on the new job,
Donna from CT

Welcome (to your new) home!

Good luck using the peep-hole without standing on a chair! When they put mine in they put it in too low - and crooked...

Hooray Lesa - you're there! And you still have a happy smiling face! My cats scream all the way to the vet, and that's only a few miles from here. They even screamed when we lived in central Edinburgh and carried them in their baskets to the vet. Yours have clearly been well brought up!

Enjoy settling into your new home - when does the job start?

So excited for you! I hope you're reading nice calming books - I usually revert to Barbara Pym, Jilly Cooper or Maeve Binchy when I'm that stressed. I wonder what everyone else likes when they're 'up to high doh' as they say here?

Love your smile at your new front door! I'm so glad all is well and that you have Internet. Hopefully you'll soon have your furniture too!

Give those sweet kitties a squeeze from me. You must be enormously proud of them.

Welcome to your new home. Glad you and the kitties made a safe trip. They deserve an extra petting for being such good troupers on the move.
