Friends

No post today. I spent Friday with friends. Our library director hosted  lunch at a local restaurant, and invited everyone in the library system. She was right in thinking we all just needed the chance to be together. It was a thoughtful gift while everyone is going through a difficult time.

As soon as I arrived home from work, two friends stopped in to go through piles of books. Then, one of my close friends stopped in, bringing dinner. We spent the evening watching the last episodes of season one of Jonathan Creek, a terrific BBC mystery series. "The House of Monkeys" was a hilarious episode.

So, no books last night. Lots of friendship and laughter instead.
