There are a couple mistakes in today's video. I apologize to Lorraine Bartlett for the repetition, but Josh distracted me, and I didn't catch it until too late. Sure, blame it on the cat!

Hi lesa,
I really enjoyed this, it was lovely to hear your voice - and also to see that unrepentant black tail!
I had no idea so many people were writing 'cosies', as I believe they're called - they really are my favourite type of book, so I will make a note of all of these.
I was reading MsLexia yesterday (you've maybe seen it, it's a quarterly publication for women writers) and their listings page includes Left Coast Crime in Sacaramento - is that the convention you attend? it looks like fun.
Have a good Sunday,
Rosemary
Rosemary, I went to Left Coast Crime in Santa Fe, but I won't be going to Sacramento. Instead, this year, I'm going to Bouchercon in Cleveland in October. I'm originally from Ohio, so I'll visit my family while I'm home.
Oh, yes. There are lots of cosies out there. I'm glad you enjoyed this month's book chat, and Josh. This morning, he's made up, and he's sitting with me as I type. He sits with me every morning while I'm on the computer.
I was so surprised to hear your voice, now you are even more real!
Love Josh. My cockatiels would be busily nibbling on the books!
Carol
I miss those Berkley mysteries but admit I have to get going on the ones I have!
Thank you, Carol. I'm glad I'm even more real now. Josh and Jinx will show up occasionally in my book chats. They're both hams. Josh was mad because I moved him. He was standing right in front of all the books. He wasn't a happy kitty.
Totally understand, Harvee. So many books...So little time. It's a wonderful problem to have, though!
