I'm sorry. No cats showed up for the production of the video showing Penguin Press' forthcoming books for August. You'll have to settle for a cat in one of the mysteries.

Oh my gosh was that fun! Did your last video feature one of your cats? I think I'd like Diesel the Maine Coon cat. At our last house there was a 20 pound Maine Coon named Max who lived there. He belonged to the roommate of the house behind us. Max would come over every day, even come inside our house! And when it was time for him to leave, he would refuse! So I started to let him 'sleep over' if he wanted to. When his owner moved and of course took Max with her, I mourned my loss. He was such a cool kitty. Our Japanese exchange student who was living with us that summer couldn't get over his size, 20 pounds is one big kitty!
These all look like wonderful reads. Can't wait to get started.

Thanks for saying it was fun, Cindy! Yes, last month's video featured a cat, which always seems to be the highlight for some readers. But, none of them showed up for this one. I'm sorry that Max moved. It sounds as if he was a wonderful cat to have as a neighbor. I'm looking forward to a book with a librarian, a library, and a cat. Perfect.
I'm with you, Mason. Looking forward to getting started with these.
I can't wait to read some of these.
I'm looking forward to them, too, Kris.
Lesa, What a fun video!! It sure will be a feline crafty month. All the books sound like fun. I look forward to reading your comments about them.
Thank you, Sandie! I'm glad you liked the video. I always appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
That was a wonderful video. Of course now I want to read all of them. Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading!
Thank you, Kaye! I'm looking forward to them. And, they're all out next week. (Although some of them are already on bookstore shelves.)
