Yesterday, the mystery community lost one of the great ones when Tony Hillerman died. I can't do any better than to link to two obituaries. I know what a loss this is to the world of crime fiction.

A sad loss indeed. But what a wealth of riches he has left us.
That's true, Corey. His books do a beautiful job with the Navajo culture. It's nice to know he was proudest of the award he received from them.
